Safety First

Help keep our operators, the community, and the environment safe by disposing of home medical sharps properly in a heavy-duty plastic disposal container. Residents can place these containers in the white collection kiosk at the MVSD Administration building near the front doors. Access to the kiosk is available Monday-Thursday, 7 am - 4:30 pm, and Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm. There is no weekend or holiday access.

The Wetlands Education Program is Back!

Students have enjoyed MVSD’s Wetlands Education Program program for over 25 years and the District is excited to bring the program back for the 2023-2024 school year with a new educational partner, The Gardens at Heather Farm.

Rebate Assistance Application Deadline Extended

Low-income, single-family residences may qualify for a 20% rebate on their sewer service charges. The application deadline has been extended to on or before 9/30/23.

Root Intrusion

In hot months like these, tree roots are looking for food, and sewer lateral lines are full of things they love to absorb like water, nutrients, and oxygen. Once tree roots make their way into sewer lines, they continue to grow and expand.

Capital Improvement Program

The District’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP) is a planning tool that establishes proactive asset management, facilitates financial planning, promotes organizational workload balance, and informs the Board and the public about the District’s infrastructure needs, upcoming projects, and proposed capital expenditures.
