DESCRIPTION: This project replaced the existing Air Compressor #3 with a new air compressor.  Air Compressor #3 is the back-up air compressor for the Sand Filter process area.

JUSTIFICATION:  The existing Air Compressor #3 was broken, and in its place a mobile air compressor had been in service as the back-up air compressor.  However, the mobile air compressor had to be decommissioned in order to comply with Bay Area Air Quality Management District regulations.  Therefore, the new air compressor was installed in its place.

TOTAL PHASE 3 COST:  $30,397.21

PHASE 3 COMPLETION:  November 2024
